Anti-Bacterial Sanitized Pillow
The anti-bacterial, Sanitized pillow is a medium firm pillow that contains carded hollow and silicon fibres . The cover is in a cotton/polyester outer casing and has been treated to stop bacteria being able to live on or in the pillow. This pillow is ideal for both home and rental properties.
A Luxurious, Soft & Silky Pillow
The fibre has been carded giving it a silky, soft sensation to the core. Silicon fibre also allows a good circulation of air helping to regulate body temperature.We have 2 sizes in this model of pillow 50 x 75cm (standard UK size) and 50 x 90 cm (Bolster).
Pillow Material and Care
Outer Cover: 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester with Sanitizing treatment.
Inner: 100 % polyester, Hollow fibre and Silicon fibre.
Antibacterial Fabric
The most common antibacterial additives used to treat fabric for end uses such as apparel and home textiles are zinc pyrithione, silver, silane quaternary ammonia compounds (more commonly known as silane quats) and polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB).
These additives have strong antibacterial activity at low concentrations and most also have excellent wash durability. High concentrations are typically required if antifungal properties are also required.
