The Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection
Firstly, think about layering. With the onset of the cooler nights, many return to warmer duvet/bedspread combinations, not too surprisingly. In the colder winter months pairing a bedspread with a matching or coordinated duvet both keeps you warm, but also can add a touch of elegance as the quilt is folded back over the duvet, at the foot of the bed. A rather stylish and ‘on-trend’ look, similar to the runners you may use. It’s a neat little trick to make your bedroom feel warm and welcoming!
Secondly, choose your colour scheme. During the hot Summer months, lighter and brighter colours work bring a cooling effect to any room, but darker warmer colours are key for winter. The richer, more dense colours bring a genuine warmth to your autumn/winter bedroom, and a more appealing appearance will encourage a better night’s sleep! As the warmer months transition into winter a feather duvet will have you covered! Feathers make the duvet warm but keep it lightweight, making it suitable for warm to moderate climates. Additionally, a blanket folded on the end of the bed makes it easy to roll up if it gets cold in the night. It’s all about layering as temperatures fluctuate.

Winter Essentials
Perhaps the two most significant essential items this Autumn/Winter would be a new winter duvet and new bedspread. Lined curtains will replace your light, Summer time voiles and curtains with a heavier, lined curtain, they keep in the warmth, keep the cold out and make your room a whole lot cozier!
And don’t forget the bathroom! Nobody likes stepping from a warm bath or shower into a chilly bathroom, so be prepared and wrap up warm in a fluffy bath towel or dressing gown.
